Tour Plan
- Pickup and Departure: We will begin our day at 6:00 a.m. with pickup from your accommodation in Cusco. At 6:30 a.m., we will head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas,
enjoying stunning landscapes and climate changes as we pass through various towns. - Lunch in Santa Teresa: We will arrive in Santa Teresa, where a delicious traditional lunch awaits, allowing us to savor local gastronomy.
- Transfer to Hydro Electric: We will continue our journey to Hydro Electric, where we will start an exciting hike of approximately 3 hours along the train track, surrounded by lush nature.
- Arrival in Aguas Calientes: Upon reaching Aguas Calientes, we will check into a cozy hostel with a private bathroom and hot water (basic service).
- Optional Activity: In the afternoon, you will have the option to relax in the hot springs of Aguas Calientes, a revitalizing experience.
- Early Wake-up: We will rise around 4:00 a.m. to prepare for an exciting day. At 4:30
a.m., we will begin our hike to the stunning citadel of Machu Picchu, which will take approximately 1.5 hours. - Sunrise at Machu Picchu: Our goal is to arrive in time to witness the sunrise over the ancient Inca city, a truly magical moment.
- Guided Tour: We will enjoy a 2-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu, where we will learn about its history and architecture. After the tour, you will have free time to
explore and capture photos of the iconic landscape. - Return to Aguas Calientes: Around 11:30 a.m., we will begin the 3-hour hike back to Hydro Electric, where our transport will be waiting to return to Cusco.
- Arrival in Cusco: We will arrive in Cusco between 9:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
- Optional Activity: Visit to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain.
