Tour Plan
- Hotel Pickup: At 8:30 AM, we will start the tour by picking you up from your hotel in Cusco.
- Visit to Pisac: We will explore the Pisac archaeological complex and its famous artisan market, ideal for buying unique souvenirs.
- Lunch in Urubamba: Enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley.
- Ollantaytambo Fortress: We will visit the impressive Ollantaytambo archaeological site, a jewel of Incan architecture.
- Train ride to Aguas Calientes: After the visit, we will board the train from
Ollantaytambo station to Aguas Calientes, a panoramic journey of approximately 2 hours. - Accommodation in Aguas Calientes: Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your reserved hotel with a private bathroom and hot water.
- Optional Activity: Relax in the hot springs of Aguas Calientes, perfect for unwinding before the visit to Machu Picchu.
- Sunrise at Machu Picchu: Early in the morning, after a light breakfast, we will walk approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu (optional bus available).
- Guided Tour of Machu Picchu: Enjoy a 2-hour tour with our expert guide, exploring iconic sites such as the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the royal chambers, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the cemeteries.
- Free Time at Machu Picchu: Take advantage of the free time to take photos and explore the citadel at your own pace.
- Optional Activity: If you wish, you can hike to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain
(prior reservation required). - Return to Aguas Calientes: Walk back or take the optional bus.
- Train ride back to Ollantaytambo: In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting for you to transfer by bus to Cusco (approximately 3 hours in total).
